Finished The First Week.

Back home and one week down!

Phew!

Promotion to running my dept, for around 6-9 months on a secondment, and it's been quite a fun time.

Stressful, at times, but fun.

Started Monday, with a new guy in tow. Introducing him to everyone and our I.T. systems, getting him up to speed. Meetings and phone calls - some online, some face-to-face - and just keeping everyone and everything ticking over. Been pretty much like that all week.

I've made the teas in the mornings (with the exception of Monday, when they made me one first thing as a 'welcome boss' thingy.....awwwwwwww!)

Got everyone a Costa this afternoon....and then we had a crazy fire alarm thing go off...so we had to calmly get to our designated meeting spot whilst the Fire guys did their bit. Oh, no fire sweeties....think someone was vaping in the toilets or something!

So...busy week. Glad I got home, undressed and changed to my Pole Dancing clothes and did a bit of a session in the garage for half an hour.

Just about to shower, change, cook tea and then slob about on the sofa with my guy.
