Have you ever gone from a contractor to a full time employee at the same company

I was offered a good job today by one of my clients. But I don't know if the money is worth losing the flexibility.

I used to work for an engineering outsourcing company and then moved to the customer's company. I was able to find a job that still offered enough flexibility and I was really happy with having more decision making ability for technical issues.
