I tell them to stay the hell away from me that usually works
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@Strict4u hopefully it don't come to the point where I have to curse them out
Strict4u · 56-60, M
@theawkward1 some people don’t get the message any other way lol
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@Strict4u true😏

GLITTER · 36-40, F
Avoid, ignore, passively aggressively spit in their tea
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@GLITTER lol, I can do the first 2
I'm the sort of person who will try to avoid such specimens.

I've asked for a new boss at work on two occasions because they let their little power go to their heads.

One, I have no idea what her problem was... I trained her to do her job, only for her to turn on me and make it impossible for me to stay there. Bish, it's not my fault that I could do most of your job at 18 years old.

The other, I think that she was just taking her pain out on me.

I totally mess with difficult people while at work....like drop their chairs low so when they sit at their desks they know that something is off and they don't quite know what.
Do my job .. document everything .. but stand my ground when needed. I've outlasted a lot of them through the years and am getting close to retirement.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Put them in their pajama's, chuck them into bed... Sadly I cannot do this to the Carers and Nurses that piss me off.
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@Thevy29 what I would like to do is punch them in the face and tell me to f off, everyone makes mistakes
rrraksamam · 31-35, M
Too many big egos at work. I've learned to be quiet and patient and let everyone take the lead, let them feel in charge, do whatever they want. Hell, I'll be out of here one day, and none of it will matter to me.
I've already been thinking about moving onto something else.
Right now I'm just rolling with it because it's not worth clashing with anyone if I won't be here long.
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@rrraksamam yea thinking about my next move. Definitely need to do something different or find another job.
I am the boss so what i says goes. customers i will agree with if they are right
I try to respectfully tell people we don’t mesh and I need my space from them.
at work you have to put up with it.. at home.. just walk away
Thankfully that's not an issue as I don't work 😅
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@NerdyPotato oh men those were better 😃 days
icedsky · 51-55, M
Get them fired
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@icedsky well that would be impossible
icedsky · 51-55, M
@theawkward1 Well it also usually leads to a lot of overtime as well. Ok I agree with Glitter. Go spit in their tea!
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@icedsky I definitely don't want any overtime, trying to be less at work and more home
calmly as possible
It depends in what way they are difficult. I am quite direct so I may address it with them directly or find a way to build a relationship with them if I need to.
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@Notladylike I have a good relationship with all my colleagues but that don't stop them from talking about ya behind ya back. What they mad about is I had 10 straight days off from work and they didn't like so now they looking for any little thing to make an issue
@theawkward1 That sounds annoying and petty of them

theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@SethGreene531 responded well
Unlearn · 41-45, M
Depends on the difficult person. Is that person good at his or her work?
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@Unlearn I'll just say this, everyone makes mistakes. Some people like to make a huge deal about it
I quit.. if you hate your job a lot.. you should look for a new one that you enjoy instead?
theawkward1 · 31-35, F
@SStarfish i wish it was that easy. there are financial responsibilities to deal with before quitting one's job
Gangstress · 41-45, F
I put my headphones in
Elanor · F

caesar7 · 61-69, M
