New job offer include a company car with all gas and insurance paid for $200/month payroll deduction. Is it worth it?

Since it is a company car, no repair bills, no license fees, free gas and insurance. I can drive it for personal use all I want without reporting anything. With the unstable price of gas that our senile grifter president has created, this might be a little better than it sounds.

I got a company car.. the money I save on fuel and registration each year is priceless.

And that was before the inflation and high prices..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout That is a large sum to save.
@Iwillwait massive.
Car rego alone is close to $1000 per year.
And I prolly burn thru a full tank every 4-5 days.. it adds up

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout What is a "Rego?"
@Iwillwait another tax.
You gotta pay to have your car inspected each year for road worthiness.
Then pay for the right to drive it on the roads I already pay taxes for..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Do they make repairs at that amount of money?
@Iwillwait lolz no. They hold you hostage until you pay for what needs repairing .
And you can’t take it to another mechanic. Cause it’s computerised.

New South Wales is the most over taxed nanny state on the planet. Imagine Canada.. on steroids
