What did you wanna be growing up?

Did you achieve it? Is it the same as what you would like now?

Eye surgeon. Close but circumstances prevented it . No I am very happy doing what I do , and all the events that have been wonderful in my life arose from my decision to take a different path.

I always dreamed of a family to be honest.
Have a home. Be safe and happy with no more drama like I had growing up. Be a wife and mother.
I wanted to be an artist but that didn't pan out.

But am happy to have what I have as many people don't have what I have. And there are special people in my life, family and friends who I adore.

I wanted to be multiple things
A soldier
A stone mason
Then a police officer

Then like a different thing every day
I’ve achieved some of those jobs
Turned out they weren’t as awesome

I wanted to be a rock star or a geologist. Life had different ideas though. :) I do make music though, so kinda! ...now I just need to make it profitable haha.

A wildlife ranger, until reality set in and I became an engineer. I still love the outdoors.

@SW-User Semi-pro, but still fun, right? I started playing bass at 18, played in small bands for a couple of decades. Playing what I liked, not so much what was popular, but lots of fun and good times.

When I was a kid, I dreamed of growing up and working a thankless boring low paying job. It has panned out great!
