Correct me if I'm wrong, but we (west) can afford sending weaponry and "volunteers" for far longer than Russia can continue replacing its own losses

@Elessar weaponry yes, volunteers it doesn't appear so. That would bring NATO into the picture officially. Its the reason they are sending Ukrainians to Germany to train up in using advanced equipment, but that's a slow process, slower than Russia just conscripting its population into the fight which is what they are doing

@plungesponge So long as it's not an official army you can't say a country is involved. Russia itself has the Wagner group for this kind of plausible deniability reasons.

@plungesponge The both of them have the resources, if deemed necessary, to arm (a much bigger) one.
