Russia appears ready to feed troops and equipment into the meat grinder of Ukraine as long as they make glacial progress towards controlling it's

seatrade in this war of attrition. I think at some point it will even become too dangerous to send advanced weaponry to Ukraine because the physical manpower on the ground won't be available to operate and safeguard it. This is an excruciating conflict by rising degrees of strangulation we are witnessing
Maybe so, and it's not new, nor unique, and the West pretending it is about as banal as anything else. It's a great excuse though for rising commodities, where banks/oil companies laugh, while this kind of disruption exists elsewhere we ignore... but those are in places we don't care about. Yes, the mighty moral conscious of the west thanking Russia for creating another cold war.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we (west) can afford sending weaponry and "volunteers" for far longer than Russia can continue replacing its own losses

@plungesponge So long as it's not an official army you can't say a country is involved. Russia itself has the Wagner group for this kind of plausible deniability reasons.

@Elessar Do European countries or the US have an equivalent of the Wagner group?

@plungesponge The both of them have the resources, if deemed necessary, to arm (a much bigger) one.
