Aren't you supposed to win sometimes?

I lost $5 gambling yesterday. After 8 spins at a slot machine yesterday my money was all gone. Aren't they supposed to let you win sometimes?????????????

They don't stay in business by letting you win. The game is rigged and only suckers play them in hopes of winning. I get more joy out of flushing my money down the toilet than playing the slots so there is that.

@lumberjackslam Good for you. I am not an anti gambling prude. If you get pleasure from losing money in a casino then enjoy! I don't get any such pleasure from losing all my money so I don't go there. I took more money out of a casino than I took in but that was because my crew was doing work in the casino and I got paid for their labors.

Slots rarely pay off, the only statistical advantage against the house is at blackjack, but you have to be able to count cards without getting caught -- not that it's illegal, but the casinos have a way of dealing with card counters.
