Small business as always. They don’t have the financial buffer zone that large corporates have. Most big corporates have already called a halt to new hires and have trimmed back spending in preparation for the recession. Depending on their markets some big corporates will be impacted more than others.

Large tourism or travel companies will be hit hard as will retail companies including Amazon as regular workers curb their spending. Amazon already missed their financial guidance in the last quarter because of the reduced online spending.
Travel takes a hit because regular folks don’t fly anywhere during a recession.

Small, it’s always the small companies because they don’t have the money the big companies have to support the politicians, so in turn the politicians will only scratch the big companies backs. It’s fucking sad.

@Jeephikelove It’s usually corporations that scratch political backs with financial campaign support, not the other way round.
It becomes fraud when it’s not recorded on the books. Just ask Trump.

@justanothername I’m talking about the bailouts that big companies have received, like after the 2007/2008 recession.

@Jeephikelove Same same but different. The Fed couldn’t afford to let the banks go under so it bailed them out.
The GFC was caused by bad housing loans unable to be financed which caused a domino effect in the market.
This recession which was always predicted because banks in all countries had to print cash during the pandemic to help keep our heads above water while we were unable to work during lock down. That on top of the impact of sanctions from the Ukraine conflict is giving all countries a massive resulting hangover aka a recession.

Also Trump was at the helm of the US Enterprise when Covid broke out. He was also at the helm when the Fed started printing money to keep the country going.

So, who caused this recession?

Big corporations are run by Democrats. They'll be sure they are taken care of.

It will be ordinary people.
2 to 8, so based on all the data, for every one person laid off by a large business, 4 will be laid off by small businesses, this is why we have an electorlal college, folks.
