It's about balances, not necessarily equality. Why should ANYONE work for minimum wages when those minimum wages are not enough to live on.
Your product must bring in enough to make it worth their while.
Or don't even put it on the market!
A living wage today is no less than 60 thousand a year on bottom end.
If you can't pay that, you shouldn't be in business! Your product is not worth it otherwise.
Look up living wage. Few in business want to pay it.

@emiliya Go to ANY state you wish!
The living wage is ALWAYS far higher than the minimum wage ANYWHERE in the whole country!

So you're thinking about profit before even starting the business. Bad idea.
Get up and running first, make some sales, then some profits. Then you can figure out what you need to pay to attract the right staff.

@emiliya Obviously you wouldn't. But consider the richest guys in the world founded tech companies, and they all share profits with the staff. Not because they're nice guys but because it makes business sense to attract/retain/motivate the right people..
All I was saying was start the business first and focus 100% on making profit. Then you can figure out the details. If there's no profit there's no money for you or anyone else.

They’ll probably be more motivated to work hard and you’ll have less turnover if you pay them a better wage
emiliya · 22-25, F
@StevetheSleeve We will see how it goes. I will do much of the work. This is why I deserve the profit.

If you find anybody willing to work for you.. 🤷🏻♀

If cheaper employees can do that work, why pay them more? But if unskilled employees can't do that, it means you are paying for their skills.

Offer profit sharing but they must also share in the losses and expenses

Then do it yourself.. DIY
Because you don't know how to run the business.. so your employee will take minimum salary but will steal your business and customers ..
