Latest Marketing Trend In Oklahoma…

Hold puppies while advertising things. Hahn Appliances aired a commercial with the woman promoting appliances while holding a puppy and then talking about animal rescues. Dogs work pretty good too. A residential living center owner in OKC has a large poodle he makes sure to feature in each commercial…I guess it’s the center’s mascot.

They used to put sensual women back in the days but nowadays that women have their own money and can be a targeted customers group, they put puppies 😍🙊

@elafina Puppies it is then…hehe

I've noticed a lot more normal-looking people in TV ads. Even in ads for women's undergarments not many are glamor models anymore.

All good things.

the sad part is that most won't allow your pet in the store.

@MarineBob Women like to buy these black bags with mesh screens and carry their lapdogs into stores like Walmart. Employees aren’t allowed to search bags so most of the time they get by with it unless the dog starts yapping.

@cherokeepatti not just women, I have a red mesh tote for jock
It's always been a successful marketing ploy to hook people and pull them in through their emotions.

Why are ads so mental...these little songs they have and whatnot.

Because they work. Small stories with jingles tug at your heart, then pull on purse strings and wallets.

Yes, a local jeweler uses his two hounds to promote his store in town. Came into my place of work once, and those dobermans are some big boys who work well for his business. No doubt they're dogged and relentless. 🐕‍🦺

Its doesn't make me want to buy an appliance as much as it would make me want to get a puppy.
