I don't understand something about the Cable T.V companies.....

Namely, why their prices seem to be as high as ever. Its a known fact that with all of the different options available (streaming ,free viewing from public libraries)people are "cord-cutting"-stopping service on their regular cable T.V -more than ever. When a businesses model is facing competition from other models, isn't it usual to lower prices as an incentive to continue with the service? And yet the cable companies haven't done that.I don't understand why.

Well when it comes to commiecast they don't care about customers so you drop them and watch hulu ,no prob because comcast owns hulu ,so you switch to net flix no prob comcast owns the rights to most of the movies on netflix. Wanna watch disney no prob comcast owns disney so your streaming no prob comcast is probably your isp . [media=https://youtu.be/KMcny_pixDw]

@kodiac Ah!NOW it makes sense! The same company the owns the cable company also owns most of all of the platforms people are flocking to.They make their money in any case.A pity those streaming platforms are not independently owned.THAT would give the cable companies an incentive to change.
