A follow up.
Just now I booked to have my air con serviced/cleaned for a grand total of $100.
Always pays to shop around.
The second company I asked about a service never even got back to me.
Their ad was identical to the first company except they were different companies?
Almost looks like collusion going on here.
The reason they never got back to me? Maybe they were linked to the office who handled my original call and because I rejected the non refundable $141 quote only, they knew it would be a waste of time if they were operating under the same system.

That $141 isn't used as a service credit? Call around. Some AC business should be somewhat honest.

@Crazywaterspring Not used as credit, non refundable. Even if their work quote is too high and I decide not to have the work done, they get the $141.
I will ring the company I purchased the unit from tomorrow. They installed it, Most likely will service it as well.

Ouch!. I guess things are harder out in the West. The company that installed ours email me every six months offering a service. (Not free. But no quote charge)😷
