Thought people might find this cool. Two summers ago a bird passed out in the middle of a road so I picked it up and gave it some cold water. I thought it might’ve gotten too hot so I set it on the sidewalk and gave it a little more water. After a couple minutes it flew away :D.
@wetncthru Thanks, it was almost a selfish act because I had always wanted to touch a bird and this was perhaps the only time I had a chance without hurting one.
Thank you for your kindness towards the poor bird....Not very many people at all would take the time to have done that....I hope they live a long and healthy life Doctor Lucas....your pew in heaven is closer than it was !!!
@lucasll I feed the sparrows and pigeons twice a day in front of my house....I love all animals as well but sparrows are awesome....They're little tiny guys that stay here through the winter and seem to thrive in a Chicago cold winter!!
I love pigeons too! You might find this cool, a pigeon visited me once that wouldn’t fly away at all. I gave it some bird seed and water and it stayed all night. Midway through the next day it left, and I’m assuming it’s the same pigeon I eventually saw again in the 2nd pic a few days later.
