How long does it take birds to find a feeder?

I moved into a new house. There are trees in the subdivision, but the closest are a block or so away. I have set out a bird feeder about a week ago, but I have not seen any activity.

Could take weeks, but they'll find it

@Smokey Ok, thank you.

I have seen birds in the subdivision. However, the nearest trees to me are a block or two away. I have seen a lot of dogs, but no cats.
I just did some research. One site says it can take up to two weeks or even as long as two to three months.
I had a dream a night or two ago that I saw birds at my feeder. 🤠

@ProfessorPlum77 squirrels probably find it first
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@Lilnonames I have not seen any squirrels up here, yet.

ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@GoFish I have seen birds on the property. I have not seen any cats.

No idea. You Google it? Or Google, "Ways to improve visits from birds with bird feeder."
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@Lisa82 I did to a degree. One site said it could take two to three months.
