A pair of Sooty Oystercatchers at Point Peron

Sootys have totally black feathers with a red beak and red rings around their eyes and pink feet.
Lives exclusively on the shoreline. Always within 50 metres of the water.
A protected species with about 11,500 individuals across Australia.
