My video of a flock of Red-necked Stints that have arrived from the Arctic tundra of Russia or Alaska

A flock of Red-necked Stints have arrived from the arctic tundra of northern Russia or Alaska.
Migrating huge distances for such a tiny bird.
Classified as a small migratory wader.
This is a flock of appproximately 120. I love seeing them "Flush". Where they take off together in response to perceived threats, often creating an electrifying display as they move through the sky.
Their melodious calls and chirps can be heard as they constantly communicate with one another.

There's a very good mobile app you can get calked, Merlin. It identifies birds by their sounds. So far, I've had 33 different birds in my garden.

@meggie I loaded the app into my laptop.
Had a virus in it that crashed my computer.
Cost me $200 to repair laptop to functionallity. 🙁
