They were our companions for centuries, we domesticated them. They delivered some of the most important messages in history, and now modern man casts them to the side. Treats them like pests.
My electricity went out and it reminded me how fragile this little system of communication we created to span across continents truly is.
So if the time ever comes…. Will the pigeons still be here for us?
