I do and get a lot out of it. It's awesome having a little bird family and seeing different species come through when they're migrating. I go with wild bird seed and crushed up peanuts. Finally learned that the best way to keep the woodpeckers and flickers off my house drilling holes was to crush the peanuts so they have to eat them when they see them instead of storing them. It works. It took a while, because they used to fight, but now I have usually five or six species, along with gray squirrels, chipmunks and occasional rabbits, all eating breakfast together in peace. It's fun.

@meggie Yeah. It's a trade off. Mammals or bulbs. :) And it is a fun feeding time. I live in a forest and it's something I've really come to enjoy. Learning how and when they operate is really interesting. Knowing it's actually good to feed them is the big bonus. Good luck with your robins. They're pretty amazing birds. 👍
