Thanks. It looked like a cushion, but knew it couldn’t be, then when you said what it was, I took a closer look, and spotted its neck and head. Poor thing. @cherokeepatti

@cherokeepatti I didn’t know they ate fish. Don’t they usually eat other birds and small prey?

@Carissimi I don’t know how common it is for them to eat geese but they will if they are hungry. A falcon gets robins here, one hit the bedroom window when the robin was trying to get away and i went outside and it flew over the fence with the robin. Sometimes I will find a pile of feathers where something has caught a robin and thinking a falcon or hawk, they circle around here sometimes leaving hawk feathers in the yard.

@cherokeepatti They introduced hawks here in Florida to deal with the iguanas and they’re eating all the seagulls instead

@stratosranger there are seagulls here and it wouldn’t break my heart if the hawks get some of them, they are like rats at the trash dumps and they will crap up cars in Walmart parking lots eating stuff people throw out in the parking lot or the workers throw to them at lunch break.
