My right ear is definitely "attached". My left ear is also attached, but with not so clean a line. This is not something I've never looked at quite so carefully before, I must admit. 😃

I've always thought my ears ought to be a little smaller, and closer to my head at the top part. This 'examination' has reminded me of that...thanks!

Semi-detached. I think I remember being taught this in school biology, but it's one of the myths of genetics.

@bijouxbroussard I just remember from old mystery novels and movies that lack of a defined earlobe was supposedly a sign of criminality at one time -- back when phrenology, etc., was a fad I guess. There were "scientists" coming up with definitions of physical characteristics that could be used to identify "criminals".

@bijouxbroussard It might be an outgrowth of the Bertillon system which used body measurements to identify criminals before fingerprints. Not4 sure about that, though.
