So something very creepy happened this morning.

I woke up to my alarm at 6am, snoozed it, then I could hear a woman, sounded like how a mother would soothe her baby with humming sounds. I froze, it was silent other than that, and pitch black. I live in the corner of a cul de sac, no neighbours near me have a small child. Even so, it was loud enough where they’d have to be right outside my window. It continued for about 2 minutes before I lifted my head, then it stopped immediately.

I’m not someone who was ever experienced anything paranormal. But I honestly can’t think of another explanation..

Any thoughts on this?

Just to satisfy your curiosity, In the morning do a search on your property and look for signs of trespassers.

A spirit or spirits of people who died in or around your residence.

Yes - don't worry about it.

It was simply a type of dream when in semi-sleeping mode. You raised your head on coming fully awake.

Nothing strange about it at all, and certainly not supernatural.

I've occasionally had similar experiences, dreaming "hearing" music, as if the radio downstairs was on, but it is very rare. I remember the first time particularly because it sounded like an operatic, soprano aria; yet I was in my teens, knew nothing about operas and did not even like them.

Probably some kind of “false awakening” where you were between sleep and awake and kind of “dreamt” the sound. An auditory hallucination of sorts.

Or your house is haunted 🤷🏻‍♀🙃

@WaryWitchWandering Yeah i was thinking the former makes the most sense..
Anecdotal. We weren’t there so any speculations here are worthless.
