I've been watching The Rockford Files. I noticed this weird translucent thing the camera caught. I seems to come right out of or through the top of James Garner's head.
It's definitely nothing to do with the show no one noticed it everyone is acting doing their job.
Here it's moving up and off to Garner's left.
And here it's moving up toward the ceiling where it dissappears. It shows better on the video. It had a bird like shape. The wings didn't flap but they kind of jiggled as it moved upward.
@BlueSkyKing No one knows. I have no idea what this is. Maybe a camera artifact. If it's movements didn't look so deliberate I would have just assumed thats what it was.
@Munumbis If the original medium was photographic film, then I'd suggest a slight flaw on that. Possibly a result of ageing before it was copied digitally.
It's intriguing, and I wonder if it's more common than we think.
@ArishMell I don't know, i haven't seen anything like it before. I've seen a few pictures of alleged ghosts caught in windows when a movie was being filmed but nothing like this.
@Munumbis It might even be a slight loss within the digital file.
I have had that in the past, though far more seriously, with images stored on magnetic discs. Those were damaged by an area of the picture replaced wholesale by a peculiar brown-purple patch.
