I Love Myths and Legends From All Cultures

I’m fascinated by all Pre-Christian myths such as Norse mythology, Greek mythology, Egyptian mythology and the way some of them tie in with astronomy and modern science. But I don’t know anything about Ancient British mythology.

Anyone know of British mythology?

Only a little. Celtic Mythology spanned from Ireland, Wales through England, modern-day France and Scotland and into the mainland Europe. The names were different than the Romans or Greeks of course but most deities coincide with counterparts in other cultures. Some interesting ones to read about: Arawn, the (three aspects of) the Morrigan, Cerridwen (of the cauldren), Oghma, The Green Man, the hero: Cuchulhain, Brigit (pronounced Breed), The fairy folk known as Sidhe and the King Under the Hill. this hardly scratches the surface of a huge and rich mythology.
