Are all religions basically mythology with some truth to it based on real events

I think so. For so many people across the world, different cultures, different religions. And they all have similarities between them. I think there is definitely some truth. But the truths are passed down stories over thousands of years and people in power have been known to burn books and edit history for selfish reasons.
