I'll call anyone whatever it is they want to be called, makes no never mind to me. We get few enough real choices in the world today and if that one is important to someone else, then it's important to me. I don't have to agree with it.

@GerOttman I don’t have the patience to keep up with all that unnecessary drivel. We were fine with the typical pronouns until Covid happened and we will be fine again one day without them.

@cherokeepatti Patience, Compassion, Understanding... Human qualities which are often challenged in our world today. How well we meet that challenge can influence our own well being as much as that of others.

@GerOttman My patience has worn thin with these demands. So there’s that. Yank a string too many times and it breaks.

@cherokeepatti To have to stop and think before you say he, she, his hers as opposed to they their seems really unnatural.
My dad used to just laugh and say, will you take a look at that fruitcake.

@Adrift Yes it is. And he was right on target too.

@Adrift The boy’s sister was in college brainwashed as many are and I noticed she had put those on her Instagram page. She was coming over to see her brother and I think trying to influence him about lifestyle etc. too. She would stay here late enough that her grandpa would go to sleep in his recliner and then tiptoe to the boy’s room to “talk” to him. After the third time in a week she did this I got suspicious about why she started doing this. And then noticed her coming out of the room and standing in the hallway seemingly out of my view. Trying to spy on me. So I got this Instagram video about someone talking about their pronouns. I spoke up loud enough for her to hear and said my pronouns are “Kiss My Ass Fool” if someone mentioned their pronouns and I would say hear’s mine. The second time I said it she accidentally said to herself so “No! That’s not right” and then went quickly back in her room. I told her grandpa and he said not to start something. I told him she was spying on us after he went to sleep thinking we’d wake up and talk about her or something. I know her games.

@cherokeepatti sadly many people are broken today. I extend my compassion to you and hope one day you are mended.

@cherokeepatti yes, I'm sure that's what it is
