I believe in karma.

If you are truly doing good in this world by yourself and by others, then no matter what happens, you will not only handle it well, but you’ll have the support of everyone you’ve done good by. It’s only the bad people who have done wrong who have to worry. They cannot deal with things not going their way and they won’t have support for that either. People will abandon them.

are you sure?

if you believe in karma, you must believe that you understand the meaning of the mechanism of karma

if you understand this meaning then the karma mechanism is based on human consciousness

if so, you live in a world created by humans or a world limited by human consciousness

you must also believe in the possibility of predicting the future etc

p.s.

it doesn't prove that karma doesn't exist

it shows that it is useless to believe in karma because the karma mechanism is not predictable by human consciousness
Reject · 26-30, M
@fakable I can’t predict the future specifically, but I can predict generally good or unpleasant experiences.
@Reject
it has nothing to do with karma

кarma underlies the cause and effect series called samsara and is used primarily to understand connections beyond a single existence
Reject · 26-30, M
@fakable Cause and effect. Yes. That sounds about right. The connections too. That all makes sense to me.
@Reject yep
to you
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable
you must also believe in the possibility of predicting the future etc

Where did you come to that conclusion? It's opposite of karma philosophy.
@ABCDEF7

that's what I'm talking about

it is useless to believe in karma because the consciousness is not able to foresee events at the level of samsara
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable Karma principles eliminates need to foresee future.

Why do you want to foresee the events?
@ABCDEF7
i didn't say i wanted to anticipate events

i'm saying that
there's no point in believing there's a process you can't control
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable Your future is in your control.

@ABCDEF7
what don't you understand?

it is impossible to control karma at the samsara level
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable Your past karma determines your present. You determines your future by your current karma(actions).

@ABCDEF7
yep
but you can't control this process consciously at the samsara level
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable When you understand the process, you can control the outcome by your actions. That is what yogis do.

Read the article I shared to understand the process.
@ABCDEF7

i don't know what you're arguing with...

there are no people in the world who understand the mechanism of karma at the samsara level

at the level of your consciousness within the life of your body you may think you understand it

but you don't
It's not logically possible

but you can believe it.

however you want
ABCDEF7 · M
@fakable Principles of Karma are purely logical. What you can't understand?
@ABCDEF7
seed in the apple can't see the tree

we're not on the same level
good luck to you
