I don't think there's some cosmic force that deals out punishment based on our actions.

I do feel however that there are repercussions if I partake in a behaviour that I find distasteful. If I help normalise a harmful behaviour in society, eventually I'll become a victim to it. So in a roundabout way, that's karma.

Not in a literal or magical way, but I do believe that kindness and good deeds tend to be repaid, as do meanness and acts of disrespect and violence. If you go through life caring about and helping others they are more likely to do the same for you.
