For over 50 years the US governments has over thrown many democratically elected governments, plotted coups, extorted bullied and have assassinated governments officials. The wheels have turned on us.

@aaaabbbb The FBI & CIA already have establishment politicians from both parties wrapped around their fingertips, probably by way of coercion if we're honest. For some recent examples, Bush signed the Patriot Act with bipartisan support and neither Obama nor Trump pardoned Julian Assange or Edward Snowden, even though it'd be wildly popular if they did. And all three of them have pursued silly regime change efforts from Bush in Iraq to Obama in Libya to Trump in Iran (among others). If the US fell to autocracy under either Trump or Biden (or another similar establishment figure), that'd just be solidifying our intelligence agencies' grip on the country.
