It is indeed wrong to use the name of Christ to spread hatred. However, Matthew 12:31 - 32, lists blasphemy of the Holy Spirit as the unforgivable/unpardonable sin. (Matthew 12:31-32).

@LadyBronte that's what I mean. Second to blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to use the name of Jesus to spread hate.
Again, so I don't get misunderstood- even if a regular sinful human volunteered to take payment on the cross it would not be possible- we could not take God's wrath and survive!
