It is about what is in your heart, not what church you belong to. I was baptized as a Southern Baptist (My choice) at 9 years old, and because my grandfather (who was a Bishop in the church got custody of me at 11 ) wanted it, I was baptized (converted) as a Mormon at 11. I no longer believe in any organized religion because I feel they are all corrupt. I spend every day studying the Word myself. It all has to do with your heart. If you study for yourself, you will not be misled. 🙂
