The Bible doesn't teach that we will go to heaven, it teaches that the meek will inherit the Earth and live forever upon it in peace. That God created heaven for the spirit beings and the Earth to be inhabited forever by man. Everyone goes to hell. Hell means the grave. So, Jonah said the belly of the fish was hell because he thought it would be his grave. Jesus, like Jonah, spent three days in hell. The grave.
