Heaven and Hell

Do you believe heaven and Hell are not 'places' as such but rather a STATE of existence where individuals exist in as a single consciousness. Earth 'bad' people existing in 'Hell' consciousness, and Earthly good people existing in 'Heavenly' consciousness ? Both consciousness has neither time or physical dimensions ? That's my interpretation of Heaven and Hell, what's your ?

No..

I believe heaven and hell are actual places...
KALIS · 41-45
@Adstar so do you think they are located somewhere ?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@KALIS Not in this universe.. I think of it like another existence..
KALIS · 41-45
@Adstar Like another physical existence, with Time, and Gravity ? and sickness, and everything that goes with a physical existence ? ?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@KALIS Another physical existence with time and gravety.. I don't believe their Time is linked to our time in any way.. there is no ratio.. Nothing like a gear link between the two realities..

Not sure what you mean with the ""everything goes with physical existence""
KALIS · 41-45
@Adstar Our physical existence is the only one we know, so we have to use that as a model for any other type of physical reality. So that why I mentioned, pain, illness, gravity, Time , death, birth, etc. I don't see any of those existing in Heaven or Hell. I respect your belief, but I only see the next reality as a spiritual one

@KALIS The Scriptures detail an eternal physical existence with Jesus that will be without pain and without sorrow.. An eternal existence transformed into perfect beings without the faults we have in this physical existence..

If you ever read the Book of Revelation the last book in the Bible you will read that our eternal home which is called the New Jerusalem will be coming out of heaven and down to mankind and that Jesus will live with us there forever and ever..

(Revelation 21:1-4) "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. {2} And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. {3} And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. {4} And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

I don't believe stuff simply because i make it up in my own mind. Or i hear some preacher or pastor declare it. I believe it because the World of God declares it..

@Adstar I believe all that my mind comprehends to be true. No scripture or text will convince otherwise. I believe that God is a consciousness and that Jesus is a consciousness now. You can quote the bible to me forever and I will still say the same, because that is what God tells me is the truth. But thanks for the message

@KALIS
I believe all that my mind comprehends to be true.

The problem with this is it is a stumbling stone in the Way of salvation.. It would be different if we where perfect and thus had perfect judgement, we could then rely on what we believe is or should be true.. But we are not perfect in thought in intellect therefore God made it clear that we Must have Faith / Trust in His will because His Will, His Word is perfect..

Also if you have contact with a spirit guiding you in the way you think how do you know that spirit is the Holy Spirit of God?

I hope you do not trust in your own mind till the day you die.. Trust in the LORD Kalis there is no safety but being with Him..

(Proverbs 14:12) "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

@Adstar I will always trust my own beliefs and no writing or scripture will convince me to the contrary. I seek God through my own intuition and not the bible. Saying anything else is just ignored by me. But yes I do read the bible, but not as you or anyone else reads it. It is Not literal to me or ever shall be. I read it and it tells me everything I need to know about salvation and faith. I interpret it as God allows me to interpret it. So quoting text to me is futile. God speaks to his children in different ways, and you and me are different. Please accept that and if you need to clarify anything in the scriptures I am always willing to tell you the true meanings

@KALIS So be it..

@Adstar thank you
