I stayed in a place that I think was haunted. A holiday home in Suffolk.
It was a very old house, I think possibly Tudor which had recently undergone a lot of renovations that were sympathetic to the original design of the house. They had exposed an original inglenook fireplace among other things and left the before and after photos in the house for guests to look at. I noticed there were some unusual white spots on some of the photos. I have heard some people say that those can be ghosts. I have an open mind. It didn't feel scary but I sensed there was some sort of presence in the house.

There are stories about my house. I have experienced a tap on my shoulder a few times in the basement. So idk. And my bed shaking.

There were rumors about. My 3-yr-old daughter reported things. The music box on her dresser started playing without the switch being flipped. It continued playing when I removed the batteries.

I did a little research. A 3 yr old little girl had drowned in the well on the property.

But I still don’t know.

I live near the Nashville Opryland. They say one of the original owners knocks on doors at night asking if everything is ok. Never had any odd experiences there.
How ever the house I lived in NJ for many years had more then its fair share of odd things happen. I was the only person in the family to see spirits. But my friends saw them from time to time and freaked them out.

The home of my brother and his family had some odd things happen in it over the years - one of which I observed - but otherwise haven't stayed anywhere "haunted" as far as I know.

Not that I recall but staying at the ymca in Columbus Oh in 99' I felt a presence in the bed with me while I was wide awake reading. I know what I felt

No. I don't believe in ghosts but have occasionally felt uneasy in odd places at night.

I put this down simply to psychology and/or physiology - unfamiliar surroundings and I wonder if our other senses increase in sensitivity slightly as the light is too low for our eyes to be very effective.
