His ghosting you shows how little he must have really cared about you or your feelings in the first place. At least now you get to see the truth. You deserve much much better.
Take some time to collect your thoughts and get yourself back to center, be grateful for being shown the truth before you got in any deeper, and move on.

I also got shown the not so nice truth recently, leading to the end of my relationship as well. It was not completely expected, but the signs were there. Overall I am better without it in my life. It wasn’t right for me.
