Challenging beliefs
What is a belief you used to have that completely changed as you got older?
For me, I got to a point where I was ashamed of love and felt like I needed to suffer to become stronger. I did become very strong, probably partly because of farm work and genetics, but as I got older, I realized I was wrong about what real strength is.
Strength isn't just about how much pain you can endure or how hard you can make yourself. I now see that being able to love others, care about people, and allow yourself to feel those things can take its own kind of strength.
What is something you once believed that you see completely differently now?
