No that's clearly an aphorism about how the small and humble things in life still delight the mighty among us, not that the king is literally a lizard. The Bible would probably have entire books on HOLY SHIT THEY'RE ALL LIZARDS if that was the case.
@CountScrofula the enemy being described as a serpent (Lizard, reptile) is described many times throughout the Bible. And i don't think it means literally a lizard, but its not about the vessel anyway but the spirit inside the vessel.
