Nope, a fairy tale notion, don’t believe it at all.

My husband and I loved each other dearly but that didn’t stop him from dying at 39 years of age.

I think that is asking a lot from an emotion, but I do think it hurts a lot of emotional wounds and can change people who aren't affectdd by a mental illness that prevents them from feeling empathy.

I think true love may conquer all. Not all couples have true love though. I know because I don’t feel that I do.

Moreover I don´t think that there is any that, even if may be necesary, is solely enough.

In particular I doubt (to say it gently) that individual agency / self love and.......all that jazz may conquer all.
Or that they may put us near enough of making most of other chips fall in "their places" (whatever that may mean).

No, I think of "conquer" as controlling or forceful... and I don't think love is like that.
