What can be proven about an afterlife.
Man could not prove anything concerning an afterlife.
Nature governed by chance, I believe differently nature is governed by the Creator / example Man created a television to function in a specific way and that television does. God created the Earth to function in a certain way and the Earth does.
The Bible tells us that there will come a falling away before that man of sin is revealed, meaning many who say they are believers will cease to believe - therefore atheism grows - but that is for believers to acknowledge.
Have a happy New Year

@Charity I'm not like those you mentioned. I have eight testable evidences in support of four central arguments (two per). I have incontestable proof.
Charity · 61-69
@SW-User Well it seems that is your **testable** evidence in supportive of 4 Central arguments and your **incontestable proof** that you keep to yourself.
Maybe you've experienced what you feel is proof yourself yet that is not tangible proof, it's your belief of a diagnosis, when it could be something totally different.
Maybe one day science will prove what goes on in the afterlife and hopefully will able to tangibly prove the existence of God, so I seriously doubt it. Science is still arguing on far too many things they think they know. God won't allow that his return will be first.

@Charity If you say so.

I have my own religion but consider myself agnostic. Agnostic in my case means you don't know one way or the other and that religion should be separate from state which I support both.
How've, I'm unaware of any confirmed test of the afterlife outside of near death experiences so if you got information I'm always up for checking it out

@SW-User Oh yeah I'll write about it on here but not right now, in a little while. Thanks 🤗

Dr. Ian Stevenson (University of Virginia): Began systematic study, documenting over 2,500 cases ("Cases of Reincarnation Type"), focusing on verifiable details and birthmarks linked to fatal wounds.
Dr. Jim B. Tucker (University of Virginia): Continues Stevenson's work, investigating cases, focusing on American instances, and publishing books like Life Before Life.
Dr. Satwant Pasricha (India): Researched over 500 cases, verifying facts and correlating birthmarks with past traumas, also studying xenoglossy (speaking unlearned languages).
Common Findings in Case Studies
Age of Recall: Children typically start speaking of past lives between 2 and 7 years old.
Memory Details: Recalled memories often include the previous person's name, family, location, and mode of death, often violent (around 70% violent/unexpected).
Behavioral Traits: Children might exhibit phobias, strong preferences (foods, places), or unlearned skills linked to the past life.
Birthmarks/Defects: Around 30-35% of cases feature birthmarks or defects at locations corresponding to fatal wounds in the past life.
Intermission: Some recall the time between lives, often described as a short period with less defined experiences.
Scientific & Cultural Context
Cultural Prevalence: Belief is strong in cultures with reincarnation doctrines (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism) but also present in Western cultures.
Methodology: Cases are studied by verifying details with the deceased's family before contact, attempting to rule out normal memory/fantasy.
Skepticism & Explanations: Critics suggest parental influence, cryptomnesia (hidden memory), or cultural reinforcement, though researchers argue many cases defy simple explanation, notes this article.

@ABCDEF7
I've seen some of those reports, they've been around for decades by various organizations, and I mean decades.
What people say they experience or part of their brain that may function differently is not a type of actual proof.
Besides who can say whatever they are experiencing or think they are experiencing is not demonic activity?

Nothing has been proven beyond doubt to me. I am agnostic, open minded, always looking. I know what I hope there is, and I believe there is some kind of intelligence in the universe, maybe even the universe itself. I also believe that we may have an eternal soul. I've studied the Holy Bible with four different religions; I find it very hard to believe it is the words of an intelligent god.

Nothing.

SW-User
@Allelse My knowledge is beyond reproach. Some of it is even taught at university level. Doubt all you want.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@SW-User No it isn't.

SW-User
@Allelse You're obviously a know-nothing commited to know-nothingness.

I have doubts. Can you provide links to some of the evidence and testing?
BlueSkyKing · M
@SW-User Guess the news media missed out.

SW-User
@BlueSkyKing Or refused to allow.

SW-User
@BlueSkyKing Or remains unaware. Lots of possible explanations.

There is no such thing as an infinite series in nature, AnnaStark.
Everything in nature is finite, and it doesn't play a role if people like that or not.

@helenS Your argument requires only looking at constituent events and never at their sum in space-time.
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User Ah ok you're right thank you.

SW-User
@helenS I hope I wasn't too rough on you. You seem nice and sincere.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
Some people can see what's on the other side. Perhaps you should go talk to those people.☺

SW-User
@Zonuss They don't. They passed point where doctors can do anything to help them. Doctors sometimes pronounce death before brain death is final. To move the goalpost for death in order to fantasize about what lies beyond is just wishful thinking.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User False. The machines don't lie. People who have seen the other side know what they saw.

SW-User
@Zonuss Testimonial evidence is unreliable evidence thus inadmissable. And machines are limited in sensitivity to brain activity.

You are a kid. What are you saying here precisely? You are making three assertions here. How about offering some convincing arguments to back them up?
