What formed your core beliefs? The ones you grew up with that haven't changed.

It's mixture of how I was raised, what I learned through reading/research, and what I've experienced.

Nothing, or very little, is set in stone . I'm always open to and do find that as new information comes to me, I change or at least modify the belief.

Sometimes 1 answer isn't suitable.

From childhood all of the above applied.

The coming of age three of the above applied as I learned without a doubt all people don't believe.

As a child i believed what i was taught, as I grew older I researched and watched and am now, who I am. The younger years do put down a foundation though.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
A lot of my core is how I was raised but also taught to question. Which of course led me to do research, study and adjust some.
Chiefjustice · 46-50, M
I would say it is a combination of the top 3, at least. I don't like following blindly, so I do do my homework as i have grown older.
A mix of the way I was raised, what everyone around me believed and research into some topics. From that I learned a few things I wanted to be and a lot of things I didn't want to be, so in the end I just picked what made sense to me.
wackidywack · 26-30
The things I know and believe in are the things I learned. I grew up and kept learning, I also learned to unlearn certain things to be in a better place mentally
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
It's mixed between how I was raised and the experiences that I have had throughout my life.
SlippingAway · 46-50, F
It's probably a mixture of 1 through 3
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
Probably a combination of the top 3
