Perhaps because deep down you know that Christ is our only hope in this world now. He is a refuge and our strength. There is none greater than He. There is no substitute for Christ in this life. He is our hope and salvation. We can try any other way but it just doesn't work and it never will. When we need peace, courage, love, and strength in our lives, He is the answer, our Provider. Our rescuer. Our Waymaker. He makes a way, where there seems to be no way. And he is the most faithful and trustworthy and he will never abandon us. He always has our best interest at heart at all times and he is pure wisdom and love, like no other. Satan will lie to us and tell us lies about God, trying to turn us away from him, but God is exactly who we need and is the answer to the puzzle of life. He turns no one away. I have followed him for 52 years and I must say he has never disappointed me nor forsaken me. I've never been sorry.
