I never know how to respond when someone tells me I need God or Jesus...

I have no intention of being disrespectful, I deeply respect people's beliefs and spiritual journeys. There's nothing wrong with sharing your personal faith.

I know I'm seen as a heathen, and that's fine, according to their beliefs, I am and I'm not worried about how I'm seen. I know what's in my heart, its important to me just like how anyone feels about their path. But I don't tell people they need Lilith or Hecate.

So I never know how to respond. I appreciate the concern and sentiment, but I'm not going to change who I am. It's a strange thing to offer a personal faith as a solution. Especially when there's at least 10,000 (recorded) different religions.

I believe in respecting everyone's personal spirituality/religious philosophy.
Until they push it in my face and tell me I'm going to burn in hell unless I do as they do, then they get a different me.

One of the many things I don't understand about people is why the need to make their own personal belief yours. They can't just be happy with what works for them, they have to try to make it mine or pass laws based on their religion or turn science on it's head to try to prove what they have is the real thing.
@robingoodfellow and most of us have a lot in common in our practices and traditions and values anyway. The rest should be personal. And hey, celebrate with each other! Except thanksgiving eff that.
