I never know how to respond when someone tells me I need God or Jesus...

I have no intention of being disrespectful, I deeply respect people's beliefs and spiritual journeys. There's nothing wrong with sharing your personal faith.

I know I'm seen as a heathen, and that's fine, according to their beliefs, I am and I'm not worried about how I'm seen. I know what's in my heart, its important to me just like how anyone feels about their path. But I don't tell people they need Lilith or Hecate.

So I never know how to respond. I appreciate the concern and sentiment, but I'm not going to change who I am. It's a strange thing to offer a personal faith as a solution. Especially when there's at least 10,000 (recorded) different religions.

I think you saw the same post I did. I was also wondering how to respond seeing how the post is very kind and genuine in wanting others to feel better.
@froggtongue this was about a response to a post I made but I definitely see people of different faiths trying to share something bright and beautiful. It is genuine and I know to them it means a lot. I guess it's best to leave it at that.
@ScreamingFox I think we struggle with this because we know that if they bring more to their religion, the more who will take things to a religious extreme. And that's most what we're trying to prevent. That and trying to help them catch up on what we know as a species. Things like statistics and likelihood of events and science that contradicts their beliefs.
