9/11 and Donald Trump

Maybe a strange forum section to post this in, but it kind of fits.

What effect has the events of 9/11 had on the rise of Donald Trump and all he stands for? Myself, I can't really put a particular "ism" to the MAGA phenomenon. A lot of words are bandied about, but what really fits? Not sure.

Maybe this question has been asked before, but it has come into my mind and I think it worth asking.

Hopefully this will not degenerate into useless arguments and name calling.

9/11. When the heart of American is struck in the way it was, this by "foreign" forces, the whole thing must have had some sort of deep seated effect upon the American psyche. Would any such effect have contributed to the apparent popularity of Donald Trump?

Just asking.

Thanks

No - I don't believe nothing had anything to do with the rise of Donald Trump. 9/11 occurred in 2001 it was 16 years later when Trump became president.

The election of a Black man gave rise to Trump.

And supporting his rise is his immigration policies.

The state's bordering Mexico has had decade / a century to handle legal or illegal immigration - they did not. One reason is they wanted the cheap labor but the people coming over began to pose a problem by under bidding jobs, then came schooling, medical and government aide. Which started and in the late 1980s but the states did nothing!!!

People would love to say it's the economy but that's a lie Trump inherited and excellent economy from former president Barack Obama. Funny how those same people do not give credit to former president Obama when the credit honestly belongs to former president Obama.

And now Trump has spoken of a day of purge by the law enforcement right up there alley.
