Catholicism

Serious answers, please

Is there another Catholic? He thinks that Pope Francis should step down?

I have never known a pope, especially pope John Paul,11 who has conformed to a liberal way of thinking and teaching. I lost faith in him when he met with Biden in jail, full, knowing that they support abortion and has told bishops and priest, that they cannot deny those who publicly support abortion the holy Eucharist..

Being tot my whole life by my Catholic faith that life should always be defended. I have always known that there were Catholics who supported abortion, and went to church every Sunday and received the Eucharist but they didn’t shout it from the rooftops.

I was taught that” now shall murder “ meant those who murdered, and those who supported murder, committed a mortal sin. I see Pope Francis say out loud to protect unborn lives and yet protects those who support murder, and saying that we should pray that they change that belief. We can pray for them, and I always have without allowing them to receive communion with supporting someone who openly supports abortion

Sadly, I see the church breaking apart. Having a traditional Catholic church and the new liberal Catholic Church..

Well as a former catholic i know there is the doctrine of the infallibility of the Popes official doctrines.. Therefore as a catholic you are 100% bound by the catholic religion to believe any official teaching / position delivered by the catholic Pope.. If you cease to adhere to the official catholic teachings and disbelieve the Pope then you are no longer a catholic..

@Adstar Only those teachings which are dogmatized are infallible. The pope can claim infallibility only under very special conditions, according to Catholic teaching. A Papal encyclical, for example, is not infallible.

Edit: In the encyclical Humani Generis, Pope Pius XII held that papal encyclicals, even when they are of ordinary magisterium, can nonetheless be sufficiently authoritative to end theological debate on a particular question. In other words, he tried to extend papal infallibility to the ordinary magisterium. That claim, of course, is not infallible, because it's only an encyclical.

You were never a Catholic. Baptism declares that you are a follower of Christ. None of those at your baptism realized that you were an issue of the Devil.

Are you a Catholic? If you are not a member of the faith, you need to bugger off.

@sree251 Who are you to tell me??? 🤨

@helenS I am a Catholic. I don't like outsiders disrespecting freedom of worship in America.

@sree251 Everything I wrote was in accordance with Catholic doctrine. If you found anything which contradicts Catholic teaching then please tell me. You have, however, no rights whatsoever to silence me. What you do or don't like personally simply does not matter when it's about the Catholic magisterium.

Of course i was a catholic.. I was born into a devout catholic family and only missed one weekly mass because of health problems.. I was an alter boy for 10 years.. i went to a nunnery primary school and a Marist brothers high school/ college.. my uncle was a Priest and we would regularly say the hail mary on Wednesday.. So yeah i was a catholic.. But that all changed in my early 20's when a work friend gave me a Bible to read.. The Gospel showed me how false the catholic cult is..

Also to declare that i am an ""issue of the devil"" when i am indwelled by the Holy Spirit is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and shall never be forgiven in this world or the next as Jesus declared in the Gospels.. So i cannot even end this post with a May you be forgiven.. So be it..

Former Catholic? Have you been excommunicated by the Pope?

Do you have faith in what the Pope says? If you do, then we can talk about the Catholic faith; otherwise, bugger off.

How would you like it if someone stick his hands into your pants and messes with you? It would be violating with your private parts against your will. If you are not a Catholic or, worse still, a Christian hater, don't pass judgment on Catholics or their faith. Do you understand that?
