@robertsnj New atheist are a label your crowd gave themselves so take it up with Sam Harris and company.
The New part seems to be about a desperate need to get into fights with anyone with differing beliefs and it seems to be more about a belief that winning an informal debate makes you right.
I am not trying to convince you of anything so why the fact do you feel entitled to a debate?

@robertsnj And yes it is totally unreasonable to walk up to a random stranger and demand they provide evidence of their belief systems to you.
