Does a person’s beliefs make them good or bad?

For instance, if someone’s religious or political beliefs don’t line up with your own, does that make them a bad person or a stupid person in your opinion??
Would that be the end of trying to understand the person, or would you continue to interact with them on other topics?

I would hope most people wouldn’t label someone so harshly simply because they have differing opinions/belief systems….but sadly, it seems to be a common practice…?

Especially online….?

I used to label people when I was younger and discount those devoted to religion and labelled those people as dumb for believing in completel fiction ....

But then , as I got older ,I realized that I was missing out on some really great thinkers and really great folks ...

I like to think of that change in myself as wisdom ..

@BobbyMoeven It's like the old saying goes. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. You can find wisdom in the unlikeliest of places. I myself have cited scenes from Family Guy that sneak in very smart lessons.
