What’s your opinion on this ?

Do you think it’s off the wall stuff hearing about demons when people mention it .
I know I can’t handle personally myself .
I hear a lot of talk with it from people who have mental difficulties.
It’s like they label anything wrong to demons.
I don’t think life is about that and at times I have mental difficulties myself but no way would I label it demons .
That would frighten me too much if I did label it . Anything goes wrong in my life I call God .
I have no spiritual teacher who guides me no more and than can be a burden at times .
I think personally that’s the danger about having a strong religious beliefs cause you’d end up trying to do it yourself with God.
I must admit too over my strong religious beliefs I have no one can get through too me.
Before I was very open to other people opinions but I shut myself off completely.
I must say over my strong religious beliefs I have since I started having a bit of faith I never really had a dark day since , so something must be working in my life . I try to lead a good life , don’t get it always right but I do try

From an objective point of view I can see you believe in God, but have difficulty believing others believe in demons .

I think it all gets down to 'what helps us through'.

Maybe they need to believe it's demons because if they believed it was part of themselves - it might be too much to bear?
Maybe they feel they can rid of a demon - but trying to conceive to get rid of part of themselves is too much ?

@OogieBoogie I do you said it .
I do have difficulties when people believe in demons cause it frightens me .
Most of the conversations after talking about demons then they talk about hell . I don’t think I’ll go to hell but that language when they talk about demons I can’t understand it

Often we attach ourselves to beliefs that seem to 'fit' us .
Like ...I no longer believe in Hell ...or Heaven - but that's coz I feel I've found something that seems to 'fit' me better.
I feel a little uncomfortable around people who wholeheartedly believe in the God Yahweh. But then I have to remind myself - maybe that is their path ?

And like you - I find the thought of demons very scary. I believe there are both good and bad spirits around us ....coz there are both good and bad people in this life.
