I don't think there's good cause to try to apply human ideas about the Creator. We don't have to do that, as if we're guessing who he is. Why do people make such a mystery out of the Bible when God gave us the Bible so that we could know everything we are supposed to know about God, including who he is, where he came from, what he came for, why we need him etc. Why do people act like it's such a mystery, when he told us everything we need to know in order to get to heaven. He didn't leave us to guess, and yet people still have the craziest notion of who he is and other questions that they pretend they can never know, yet there they are...the answers are in God's Word. It's ridiculous.
Oh please! As if God left us wandering around in the dark with no way of knowing who he is. That's lazadaisical and there's no excuse for that when God gave us His Word. That's an insult to God.
We just have to accept certain things, good and tragic are part of life.

@LadyGrace Isaiah 45:7
King James Version
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
You see He does it all. And the Bible leaves us guessing based on the many interpretations. And I would say the God you believe in you have all the answers to. The Creator I know is too great for any human to understand

@Axeroberts I never said that we understand it all but he gave us the basics of what I listed that we can know and not have to guess about who he is or why he came and why we need him. We certainly can't know all about him but the best things we can know

@LadyGrace We know there will be suffering and sorrow.
John 16:33
English Standard Version
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

@Axeroberts I don't see what this has to do with your post but yes I know that verse. But I do have a question for you. I guess you erased it I don't know but yesterday you said there's a difference between my Creator and your Creator. What would that be?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace I never erased anything. You made a reference to my comment about having to accept life has tragedy. You seem to relate to the Bible so I used that quote. You mentioned how God put everything in a book. Namely the Bible. But the Creator I believe in leaves many unknowns in terms of what we as humans can understand. You don't seem to have any unknowns
@Axeroberts that's not fair to say of course there's unknowns. There's lots of unknowns. There's much much to learn and some things we won't know until we cross over.

@LadyGrace
He didn't leave us to guess
You are always saying this. But the truth is that none of us know. There is always faith even when we are 100% sure.@Axeroberts that is correct. I always say that but when I say that, I'm referencing about God telling us who he is and why he came and why we need him and all about salvation and how to get to heaven. He didn't leave us to guess about that. That's what I was referring to. There's so much we can learn from the Bible I mean it is a plethora of information and wisdom. There's so much information it's mind boggling what we can learn from the bible. Tell us about God's character about the Holy Spirit about all the future events to come I mean there's just no end.

@LadyGrace yes there is a lot in it but it is a spiritual book and not a text book. And a belief. Just one belief. and no better than any other belief. no one is better than another. You seem to treat it as absolute truth. It is absolute true for you but not for everyone. It's a belief. That's what a belief is. it's not absolute
@Axeroberts God said it is absolute truth. I believe him. He is no liar. I've seen none other in this world any higher than him. None can outdo him. Name one that can.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace I believe it's the same Creator but different paths to Him.
@Axeroberts If it's the same Creator then there cannot be two different paths to him. God said there's only one path and one way to Him, in His Word. We have talked about this before. You talk about something completely different, because I noticed you've said in your posts, things like...I don't know how this or that could happen or I don't believe God is like this or that, so it seems like you are finding fault With God, as you don't believe certain things he says or that things could actually happen so I don't understand that part. You keep saying how could this be. Why don't you just believe God and take him at His Word?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace you are very vague. And take things out of context. And you are no expert in the subject. Bible or no bible.
@Axeroberts that really hurts my feelings because for one I wasn't vague and I don't take things out of context. I read your words and I know what they said. And I have never EVER said I was an expert on anything. Thanks for judging me. I won't bother you again. I promise.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace not everyone is going to agree with you. And if your beliefs work for you that's fine. I have nothing against that. But I find you don't accept others'beliefs
@Axeroberts it's not that I don't accept others beliefs and that makes me sad that you think I don't. You don't understand. It's not that I didn't accept your/others beliefs, it's just that I was trying to understand where you were coming from. That's why I asked questions.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace i have no problem with you asking.
