Women To Remain Silent?

“As in all the churches, the women are not permitted to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.” 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 What part of this do you not understand? Just curious.

@Adstar it would be better if the [b]men [/b]were not allowed to speak. If churches were used for quiet personal meditatiion rather than a guy in fancy dress spouting at a bunch of like minded zombies. That'd be great.

Even Buddhism which encourages meditation and self reflection has a copious amount of direction involved
